TeachingWorks leadership to deliver keynotes at teacher licensure conferences

Deborah Loewenberg Ball, dean of the University of Michigan School of Education and director of TeachingWorks, will deliver a keynote address at the 85th annual National Association of State Directors of Teacher Education and Certification (NASDTEC) Conference in Austin, Texas on Tuesday, June 11.

Francesca Forzani, associate director of TeachingWorks, will present at an affiliated symposium, The Future of Teacher Licensure, sponsored by Educational Testing Service, on Wednesday, June 12. Her presentation will focus on the practice-based assessments currently being developed by TeachingWorks as well as the work of the University of Michigan to identify high-leverage teaching practices.

NASDTEC represents professional standards boards and commissions and state departments of education throughout the Unites States, including the District of Columbia, U.S. territories, and several Canadian provinces.
